Who am I?

Glad you asked! I am a high school physics teacher based in the Seattle area. I have a degree in physics and astronomy from the University of Washington and a Master’s degree in Teaching.

I live with my beautiful wife and two very large and very cute cats, Cassini and Beef. (I will let you guess which one is which.)

I have spent my entire life crafting stories and worlds to explore. My earliest writings include a spoof of Fantastic 4 where the characters are penguins. From there, I moved on to writing cringy zombie apocalypse stories with my childhood best friend, and producing the world’s most unnecessary fan-fiction of my favorite video game, Sins of a Solar Empire.

When I went to college I took some creative writing classes and wrote a book’s worth of short stories that my professor once called “interesting in a neutral way.”

Then, in 2023 I began writing Humanity Defined, my love story to science fiction. After reading, watching, and playing with the worlds crafted by the wickedly talented community of sci-fi enthusiast, I decided to make something truly my own. A world that is just a human as it is alien. One that anyone, science fiction enthusiast or not, could pick up and find something to enjoy.
